LEGO Pokémon

The Crossover We Waited Years For

LEGO and Pokémon are the two pillars of childhood play for an entire generation of dads — and now their kids. Putting them together was always going to work; what nobody expected was for the *debut wave* to be this good. This hub is the one-stop portal for every LEGO Pokémon set we have built and graded, starting with the two sets that opened the line and immediately became highlights of the year.

The launch is anchored by its two icons. Pikachu and Poké Ball (72152) is the mascot set the whole theme rests on — a posable, brick-built Pikachu with the cheeks, ears and lightning-bolt tail rendered with zero margin for error, plus a buildable Poké Ball that completes the iconography. Eevee (72151) is the connoisseur's pick — the fan-favourite Evolution Pokémon, all soft fur and round haunches, a brutally hard design brief that LEGO solves with a posable figure that reads as Eevee from across the room. Both earned a 10/10.

The honest LEGO Pokémon truth: this is a first-wave licence, so the debut pricing carries the full Pokémon tax. But the design quality is exceptional, the articulation gives the figures real personality, and the emotional pull for any Pokémon household is enormous. This hub grows with the theme — every new set we review folds in automatically. Below: every LEGO Pokémon build we have graded, scored on the only things that matter — does it look like the Pokémon, and does it earn its shelf?

Thematic Pillars

🎛️ The Dadnology LEGO Pokémon Standard

A LEGO Pokémon set has exactly one job: be unmistakably that Pokémon. We grade these on whether the silhouette reads instantly — Pikachu's cheeks and tail, Eevee's fluffy collar — and whether the articulation gives the figure enough personality to earn a permanent shelf spot rather than being a static statue. Fan service is not enough; the build has to be worth the evening, and the finished figure has to make a Pokémon fan grin the second they see it.
