Four new flower sets for the start of 2027
The first LEGO Botanicals sets for 2027 have been revealed, as reported by Brickset: a Peony Bouquet, Cherry Blossom Branches, a Wild Orchid and a Perfectly Pastel Flower Bouquet. Three of them arrive on 1 January, the pastel bouquet a month later. On the first images, this is the strongest Botanicals wave we have seen so far, and we like all four of them.
Why it matters for dads
Botanicals sets are short, relaxing builds, the result goes in a vase instead of on a shelf of spaceships, and they make a much better gift than a bunch of flowers that is in the bin a week later. Our guide to the best LEGO Botanicals sorts the current range by price and display space, and it is where to start if you want something to give before these arrive.
Our two personal highlights are the Peony Bouquet (11515) and the Wild Orchid (11519). Brickset points out that the Wild Orchid makes clever use of purple seal pieces for its petals, and it also compares it to this year’s Woodland Mushrooms (11505). If you already have the original Orchid (10311) on a windowsill, as we do, the new Wild Orchid is a second orchid to put next to it.
The Cherry Blossom Branches are the cheapest set of the four at $29.99, which makes them the easiest pick for a teenager’s room or a small gift. All four, according to Brickset, make full use of LEGO’s wide range of leaf and foliage pieces.
What’s next
The sets are not on sale yet, and no retailer listing has gone live. We will add the links as soon as they appear. For gifts this Christmas, the current range is the one to look at.
The Dadnology Take
These are the best-looking Botanicals sets so far, and January suddenly has something to look forward to. If we had to pick two, it would be the Peony Bouquet and the Wild Orchid, but there is no weak set in this wave.
